For those of you who have seen a performance at the center, you know what we’re talking about. For those of you who haven’t, the time has come. The summer line-up is rich with opportunities to see the world’s best and one of the hottest tickets in town this summer is the Encore Celebration Gala on Saturday, June 16th. So hot, we want to be sure all our fans know about it. It’s a sizzling summer evening at the Center for the Performing Arts! Featuring the music of Cole Porter, Alan & Marilyn Bergman, and a special appearance by Barry Manilow.
Join us Saturday, June 16, for our season finale Encore Celebration Gala presented by Krieg DeVault. The event begins with the First Merchants Bank Red Carpet Cocktail Reception, followed by a Gala performance with Michael Feinstein honoring the music of Great American Songbook Hall of Fame inductees, including a special appearance by Barry Manilow. A lavish post-concert dinner includes gourmet food and an open bar. Next, the Encore Celebration kicks into high gear with the Katz, Sapper & Miller After Party, featuring a diverse mix of “music clubs” located throughout the Center’s state-of-the-art campus. Free valet parking is sponsored by Tom Wood Jaguar.
